Pedagogy- The Art of Teaching

Teaching is an art that must be hewn by individuals who aspire to teach.  Teaching affects the entire human being: body, soul and spirit. As such, every instructor must perfect the art of pedagogy.

A clear understanding of this concept is paramount as well as a willingness to adapt to its precincts.

Reading or reciting information to a learner is not enough and cannot be considered teaching.  It is what I call a shameful display of teaching.  Every well meaning , called teacher must place importance on perfecting the art of pedagogy.  Teachers will need to make a deliberate effort to grow in this area.  Any other stance or reaction to this necessity has to be displayed by someone who is not called to this field and has lost direction and is guilty of malpractice.
